This series is titled "Purity". It explores the feeling and color association with purity, while simultaneously expressing the intimacy and vulnerability of exposure. This is a self-portrait project that displays my own personal disillusionment with society's idea of purity. Often, we associate purity with infantilism, which justifies the model's fetal pose. However, purity is often sexualized. My goal is not to sexually expose myself but rather to bring to light the innocence that lies within what it means to be "pure" and to expose such without sexualization. This photo series further delves into what purity may look and feel like when it is inherently "ruined".
